This is a good story and it's true:
Breakfast at McDonald's
I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree. The last class I had to take was Sociology.
The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with. Her last project of the term was called, "Smile." The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.
I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a pieceof cake, literally. Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning. It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.
We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away,and then even my husband did. I did not move an inch...an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.
As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body"smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.
As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was "smiling". His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance. He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.
The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.
I held my tears as I stood there with them. The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted. He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).
Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.
That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action. I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray. I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot.
I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand. He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you." I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope."
I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said,"That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope." We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give. We are not church goers, but we are believers.
That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.
I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand. I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it. Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?" I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class. She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed. In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn: UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.
Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

so bored with studying!! arrg~
anyways had a family outing today..went to watch movie tgt! all 4 of us..dad, mum, zhong and me..wa we all like veri veri long didnt go watch movie tgt le! we went to watch 功夫之王 (The Forbidden Kingdom) at Lot 1..actually i didnt realli wanna watch this show de..but nvm la..juz join in the fun lo~ also wanna spend some quality family time tgt outside..haha actual fact is tat i am too bored staying at hm, supposed to study but slacking most of the time! -.-
we went to Siam Kitchen for dinner 1st b4 the movie..i haven even look at the menu den the waitress started toking all abt the buffet that they r having at that time! my dad la..anything anything..den help us all to make the decision of having the buffet dinner..i dun wan de lo! haha..there's this buffet menu that hav abt 20 dishes on it..and if we take the buffet..they will serve us with ALL the 20 dishes but in smaller portions..den we will hav the privelige to order the ones that we like again with no extra cost..which means the food is free flow de la..it does sounds like a good deal rite? haha..the waitress kept saying tat the buffet is super worth and the food will b on our table on no time..like keep pscho-ing us to take the buffet like tat -.- okaes it's true that the food realli cant fast..but i dun tink is worth lehs..$20.90 per adult lehs! not worth..but at least the food that they served was alrite..some r realli nice though! i like the tom yam soup and the curry beef! haha..worth trying la..but beware..it's realli not worth for someone who cant eat alot + cant take spicy food! tink abt 3/4 of the dishes that they serve r with chilli de lo~
our whole table is filled with mani plates of different food la!

wahaha~ i'm insane~
i nearly chop off my long hair (ok la..not very long) but at least it's til a length which i tink the longest i ever had..duno why..i rmb it was yesterday around 11 plus in the morning den suddenly feel like goin to the salon to cut hair! and to cut real short! muz b due to all the stress i facing! -.-
i thought abt tit for the whole afternoon..no wonder i cant rmb anyting that i had read from my management accounting notes..went to the salon in the late afternoon and sat there pondering for another 10 mins..and i made my decision!
I DIDNT CUT IN THE END!
the salon hair-dresser auntie keep persuading me not to cut..ps. she had been cutting my hair for yrs le~ she says if i cut confirm will regret de! cos my face so round..cut le will look even rounder =P haha...den i keep debating with her..saying tat i'm kinda sick of my long hair le! haha..she ask me not to make harsh decision lo! -.-
haha..in the end i just trim my hair..the back is still ok la..BUT den she cut my fringe til SUPER short la! no way i can hide it with pins or hairband -.- so i just hav to leave it the way like this -.- ugly ugly~
tried to study at hm yesterday..and i realised i realli cannot study at hm..yesterday i juz managed to do the notes for 3 pgs frm my commerical law textbook and finish 0.25 chap of mgmt accounting..JUST LIKE TAT~ omg..duno wat i had been doin at hm -.-''' boring~
it's always the exams period which makes studying sucks so much!
my 1st paper is coming in a week time (which is in on nxt fri)..everyone seems so ready in their preparation for the exams..but for me..i realise.....
the more i drown myself with all the notes, the more i find myself to b lost within them!
i feel so lousy~ =(

wee~ my 古天乐!! haha..went to catch 一个好爸爸 [Run Papa Run] yesterday night! went causeway point to meet xiao yi after studying with peiyin & deqi at JE library..went to BREEKS cafe (a newly open restaurant open in causeway point) to hav dinner!
i had this pasta with beef bolognaise sauce!
the dinner there is not bad..the main course not veri fabulous..xiao yi had the Cajun blackened fish..but the sides (we ordered waffle fries but totally wasted the melted cheese that comes with it cos both of us dun eat cheese!) and desserts r nice! haha..we ordered an ice-cream called Towering Cioccolato..inside is choc ice-cream + little bit of nuts + milo powder + choc syrup..super fattening la! haha..but it's nice! tks to xiao yi for the dinner treat! =D
after that we went to catch the movie..and i smuggled a cup of each-a-cup bubble tea in! =P
the show is not bad..bcos hav my no. 1 hongkong idol..mr louis koo! haha..apart frm that..the little ger in the show is pretty too! haha..eyes super nice! movie is quite alrite..i'll recommend ppl to go watch this show..hav funni parts..hav touching parts..nice! but tink it's abit draggy..but who cares..i can see more of my 古天乐! =P ya i know i'm insane~ hahaha..
